Hey, I'm Coach Coady!
I'm a confidence coach, and for the past four years I've helped kids and teens build the skills, confidence, and structure they need to overcome challenges and succeed in life.
But I didn't always feel confident in myself. For years I struggled with perfectionism and being my own harshest critic. Small mistakes made me feel like I wasn't enough, and I constantly compared myself to others. I cared deeply about what people thought of me and often escaped stress through screens while avoiding responsibilities, difficult conversations, and help from others. Even though I've always been a big dreamer, the gap between who I was and who I wanted to become often felt overwhelming. Everything began to change when I learned how to set clear identity and outcome goals, then reverse-engineer them into the skills and daily habits needed to achieve them. By breaking big goals into small steps and stacking small wins, my confidence grew, my belief in myself strengthened, and my inner critic became quieter. Today, I help young people do the same-building the habits, mindset, and daily systems that help them grow, gain confidence, and create momentum toward becoming a person they can be proud of. I struggled with negative self-talk, perfectionism, comparison, finding a purpose, and emotional regulation. My biggest shift came from learning: progress beats perfection-stacking small daily wins and reflecting on them; act first, feel second-it's easier to move yourself into a good mood than to think yourself into one; compassion-talking to myself and others more kindly; managing dopamine-easy pleasure from low-effort tasks makes high-effort tasks feel 10x harder; and habit tracking-tracking habits on paper or in an app makes everything feel more real.
I play guitar and write my own music. I love playing basketball and spikeball. I enjoy mountain biking and my favourite place to work is on my laptop at different coffee shops. I'm always listening to educational content or music, and I love creating digital products-ebooks, websites, animations, and videos.
