Hi, I'm Coach Ryan!
I help young men stop overthinking and start building the confidence to become who they're meant to be.
Growing up, I was the kid everyone thought had it all together. Fun, outgoing, always wanting to help everyone around me-but I had no idea how to help myself. I struggled hard in school. Dyslexia and ADHD made everything feel ten times harder than it should have been. I'd sit and stare at my homework for three or four hours, completely trapped in procrastination-not because I was lazy, but because I was so terrified of doing it wrong that I couldn't start. I was so obsessed with things being perfect that I just wouldn't try. I was the kid who started every sport but never finished one. I'd have days full of energy and days where I was completely drained. I worried about everything going wrong instead of just being in the moment. And deep inside, I was struggling more than anyone could possibly imagine. Everything started to shift when I picked up How to Win Friends and Influence People at 16 and fell in love with the idea of becoming your best self. I studied confidence, mindset, and self-development obsessively and I learned that the things I thought were holding me back-my ADHD, my dyslexia, my overthinking-were actually my superpowers. I learned that failure is part of success. Failures are golden, but only if you win them. Now I help young men figure out who they are and who they're meant to become. We look at their current habits, their current thoughts, and we rebuild those into positive angles. That's the work! And it changes everything. Nobody taught me this stuff in school. I had to figure it out the hard way-by struggling, failing, and refusing to stay stuck. Mindset is everything. Change the way you think and you change your entire life. It's always you versus you. Overthinking isn't a weakness, it's a skill-you just have to learn how to manage it. Action creates motivation, not the other way around. Failure is part of the process-learn to embrace it if you want to go far in this life. Confidence is built by keeping commitments to yourself.
If it's outdoors and gets my heart racing, I'm in! Rock climbing, wakeboarding, surfing, camping-you name it. I love running; it's how I clear my head and challenge myself. Music is a huge part of my life-it's always on. Guitar is my go-to way to unwind. I love a good game night, and I'm always learning new skills because personal development is a lifestyle, not a hobby. I live in Star, Idaho.
